March 3, 2008 — Revision 3.1.8 Minor Release Added a new “Maps To Venues” page to provide quick access to maps where Cherry Sonic shows have been or will be held as well as for shows posted to the Cherry Sonic show calendar by others. Fixed a problem with the results page produced by an internal Google search. Fixed many of the problems using the site when using the Opera browser. There is still a problem viewing the automatic photo slide show. Also, anything that opens a separate window works for a while and then stops. Browser around to other pages on the site and returning to the desired page usually causes it to work. Implemented invisible, internal changes to support upcoming featurers. Miscellaneous internal changes. Known Problem — We’re currently experiencing an intermitttent problem with a couple of form submissions. The Submit Your Band form exhibits the problem more than any other. In every case so far, there is no problem at all. On occasion, the user may see a "Failed" message. However, the submission does go through. When there is a failure, we will immediately send an acknowlegement to the submitter to tell them that we got their submission. We hope to have this problem fixed soon. February 12, 2008 — Revision 3.1.7 Minor Release Finished a complete revamping of the videos section. Miscellaneous internal changes. From now on, if you bookmark a video page, embed a link to a Cherry Sonic video page on your page, or email a video page to someone, the link will never change in the future when new videos are added. You can view enlargements of photos or watch any number of slide shows from previous events. The video section was reorganized a little and many new videos were added. October 19, 2007 — Revision 3.1.3 Minor Release In this release we added video section to the site. A photo section will be added in the next few days. October 16, 2007 — Revision 3.1.2 Minor Release This release includes changes not really visible to the users, but it lays out the framework for adding photo, video, and audio sections to the site. (Coming soon.) September 17, 2007 — Revision 3.1.1 Major Release We’ve changed the web site a quite bit in this release. It has the same basic look and feel, but it has been cleaned up a lot, making it easier to navigate and use. For your convenience, we’ve gotten rid of the pages that mentioned future services and only cover things that we offer now or plan to offer very soon. Fixed all form submission problems. The Upcoming Shows section has been completely revamped. A Special Events section has been added. This section describes overall events that typically span multiple shows or a held for a special cause. For example, a sequence of theme shows would be considered a special event. The “Bookings” section has been refined. The old “Favorite Links” section has been replaced with a “Marketplace” section. Now, it exhibits all of the Cherry Sonic affiliates and our favorite causes. We also revamped the page about becoming a Cherry Sonic affiliate or exchanging our links. Early 2007 Interim Release This interim release laid out the framework for the first planned major release of the web site. Late 2006 Interim Release This interim release served simply to provide a quick and easy way to inform our viewers about Cherry Sonic shows.
